Yes I know. Extremely, extremely, overdue. But here goes! Day 4 in Taipei!!! Took a train to the Taipei Station to get our train tickets to Shi Fen. It’s quite troublesome getting to this place. You’ll have to exit the MTR and go to Exit M4. It’s a long walk! We were taking the morning … Continue reading Taiwan Itinerary Day 4 – Shi Fen, Xi Men Ding (BEST LU ROU FAN IN TAIWAN!!!)
Okay so before I even blog about Bali. Let’s just start off with the fact that I killed my iPhone 6Plus, only 4 months old, on the trip. Sigh. But still, I can’t deny the beauty and charm of this very touristy destination which has become very commercialised. The beaches are GORGEOUS, and the skies … Continue reading Bali in 72 Hours – Your Perfect Beach Holiday
Yup. It’s hell week. But my BFF and I still went on a staycation at Swissotel anyway.
Because, why not?
(Ok a lot of reasons why not)(We don’t care)(Ok maybe a little)
Edited these pictures in a jiffy because… They were just so easy to edit! It’s so much quicker when the pictures are mainly of food and filters in Lightroom can be replicated for almost all the photos! Heehee.
Finally had a good night’s sleep after 4 days of non-stop gambling + eating which gave me the energy to B L O G!!!!!!! Went over to New Ubin Seafood at Sin Ming with the Lims for our reunion dinner this year. Well, technically we’ve been going there for the past 3 or 4 years… Helps to have connected cousins because that means the BEST seafood + menu for CNY!!!!
Happy Valentines Day to us. It’s our second spent together and we picked SEAR at 50 Raffles Place to celebrate. Continue reading “Our second Vday spent at SEAR”
Planned our day to Jiu Fen on Day 3 and took a Train towards RuiFang after meeting up with Daddy and Didi at Taipei Station.
Day 2 in Taiwan and we planned on visiting Yong Kang Street, famous for their TW Beef Noodles and cafe culture. From my research prior to the trip, I followed Ladyironchef’s guide to Yong Kang Street and wanted to eat my way through the cafes. But first, had to feed my Daddy with a “proper” breakfast and so Yong Kang Beef Beef Noodles was first on our list.
Finally got myself motivated to finish this guide that I’ve planned since I headed there last December. A lot of people seem to be headed over to Taiwan (must be the Scoot deals lol) and this should be pretty helpful if you need some help getting around Taiwan. Here goes!!!!!
Aly’s back in SG and the three of us finally found time to meet up after failing at our beach plans a few weeks back.. Lol. I guess we’re more motivated to head out for food + shopping than tanning at the beach because we’re just epic lazy bums.
It was on the 4th of January 2014 when we “officially” got together. Technically he asked me on the 3rd, but I said,
“How about tomorrow?? Then the date will look nicer, like 4.1.14??? Instead of 3.1.14.”
(HAHAHAHAHA, yes I’m all for the palindromes…)
Fast-forward a year later & I’m staring into the eyes of the same man whom I fell in love with on the 4th of Jan 2014. We are finally 1 this year! :)
